Recently, I made a farewell card for a fellow choir member. Since it was a group card, I wanted to make it special than usual.
I racked my brain for ideas until I decided that it’s time I try an explosion box card.
The card was for a girl so I used a baby pink and baby blue color scheme.

On one side was a pocket for cute bookmarks about friendship. I also made a miniature songbook and greeting card with the recipient’s photo.

On the opposite side was a pocket for 3×3 notes where everyone could write a personal message. I used a vellum paper for the envelope and tied a bow where I could tuck in the envelope cover.

Then I made a miniature suitcase to go in the middle. I also made mini photos of the choir group. I used a large gold foil bow to decorate the blue lid. On one side was an owl that says “Guess HOO will miss you” and on the opposite side was a message “from your Sydney choir family.”
