Autumn Greeting Handmade Cards

It’s only a few days until summer ends and then it’s autumn again – my favorite season! I love autumn because the temperature is just about right and also because it’s that time of the year when we get a big excuse to go on family holidays. My baby’s birthday and our anniversary falls on 29 April, so yes, we are looking forward to it!

Anyway, I love the colours of autumn and I decided to update my handmade cards last weekend. I created 2 cards using Love Cynthia Snow Much Fun Stamp Set and an autumn themed patterned paper which I printed on A4 paper.

I chose the girl with umbrella and the fox to sit next to her like a good pal. I colored both images with bright colours to make them stand out. Then, I used Kraft cardstock as backing and I loved how the colors blended together!

Using the same pattern, I decided to use again my old stamp set – Neat & Tangled My Favorite Nut set. The squirrels were perfect for autumn season. Because the squirrels were smaller than the girl from the other stamp set, I decided that some branches with leaves should occupy the blank space at the top left.

In the end, my daughters loved this second design better. They said that the colours matched well against the paper.

Here is the messy process of cardmaking. This is my way of relaxing when the baby sleeps hehehe.

All this mess for 2 cards! Hahaha!

And finally some photographs taken by my talented daughter. She is really good at photography at her young age of 10.

I’m gonna make more cards of the same designs so I could share hugs in a card this March. Hope the recipients will like it as much as I loved creating them!
