Shaker Birthday Card Ideas

There’s something lovely about shaker cards and I just love making them. Adding those beautiful sequins gives the cards a boost.

Here are some shaker cards I made for colleagues whose birthdays fell last May.

An autumn themed birthday card feat Love Cynthia Snow Much Fun stamp set

I used Snow Much Fun stamp set from Love Cynthia. Because May is the last month of Autumn, I created this birthday card with the season in mind.

I wanted to make it super clean. Just white background so that the elements pop out. And the shaker beads I chose was a lovely mix of pastel coral, gold and crystal. It went well against the greens from the girl’s coat and the leaves.

Just looking at the girl with her loyal pal makes me feel cozy already. I just love Autumn… it’s my favourite season. I think I might have mentioned this in my previous posts but still I won’t stop saying this hahaha.

I hope the recipient of this card also feels that coziness when she receives this. She is just as lovely as the girl in the card too. 🙂

The other card I made used the same template but with this one, I added a sky blue background. I think it contrasted well with the brown and bronze elements and chunky glitters. It gave off the same cozy feeling by using this autumn color scheme.

I used My Favorite Nut stamp set from Neat & Tangled for this other card. I think the cute squirrel was perfect for the autumn theme. Wasn’t it? 🙂
