Hi friends! Wishing you all a lovely day. Election in the Philippines has just finished successfully and peacefully so I thought I’d make a card in dedication to all my fellow Filipinos who love our motherland dearly.

Lawn Fawn Tiny Friends stamp set represented very well the people of the Philippines so I decided to use all of the images in the set. For this handmade card, I used a slim line sized card base so that every person (and animal ;D) in the Tiny Friends stamp set could be showcased.
First, I covered the front panel with a dark blue and dark red cardstock of equal measurements, the blue for the top half and the red for the bottom half part of the card. This is to represent the Philippine flag which is similar in colour.

Then, I splattered some gold paint using Pearl Lemon Yellow from Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolour set for some “fireworks” effect.
Then I cut out the letters PILIPINAS in white glitter foam sheet, while I used gold glitter foam for the stars.

Next, I stamped and coloured the tiny friends with alcohol ink markers. I won’t be sharing the markers I used because I pretty much went freestyle with them, and I didn’t create dimensions. I just made sure that I used dark colours for the hair except for the old man and woman.
Because there was a lot of stamped images, I decided to use the accompanying die sets instead of fussy cutting.
The additional sentiment, “sama sama tayong babangon muli” was printed in white cardstock then cut to form a wavy banner.

Then I assembled everything on the front panel by adhering with glue. For the banner, I used foam adhesives for dimension.
Thank you for stopping by today! I hope you liked this card 🙂 do you want to create one for your country as well? I would love to see your projects!
