Hello friends! It’s nice to be sharing another Thanksgiving card again featuring one of the Happy Town stamp sets from Hunkydory For the Love of Stamps.

Christmas Dinner stamp set features 5 cute tiny people: a girl holding a roast chicken, a boy holding a plum pudding, a couple of girl and boy holding party horns, and a boy holding a fork and knife. Yup, they’re ready for a big Christmas dinner as the stamp set name suggest, but I decided to use them for a thanksgiving event instead.
We hold Thanksgiving events in church every week so this card design would be really useful all year round!

I started by cutting a rectangle from a white cardstock, using my second largest die from Scrap Dragon A6 double stitched rectangle nesting dies. This will be my front panel.
Then I created the brick background using the Brick Stencil from Lawn Fawn and Salvaged Patina distress ink. For the bottom part, I used a 6×6 wood design paper I bought from Daiso many years ago (I did hoard craft supplies before haha). To complete the background, I also added a white strip of cardstock in between the brick and the wood as “floor board.”
Then I stamped and colour all the image in the Christmas Dinner stamp set. I used various shades of aqua, blue, pink, browns, greys, and yellows. I added some Nuvo glitters on the crown and the banner for some interest.

I made the ladder from a strip of cardstock, some of the offcuts which I kept on a pencil holder. Then I coloured the ladder grey.
Before I arranged the images on the panel, I stamped the sentiment first. The sentiment I used was from Simon Says Autumn Greetings stamp set.
Then I adhered the images using liquid glue for the ladder. I also modified the boy in tuxedo who was originally holding a fork and knife. I cut the utensils out and propped him on the ladder so it would apear like he’s fixing the banner on the wall hehe.

Then I arranged the other boys and girls. I used foam adhesives for the ones holding the food for dimension.
Finally, I adhered the panel onto a white cardstock. I hope you liked this simple Thanksgiving card!
