Hello friends! Today I’m back with a simple handmade card idea, a thank you card using Words of Cheer stamps from Stampin’ Up! and Say Thanks Dies from Concord and 9th. For more cardmaking ideas, please follow my Instagram page.

The Words of Cheer stamp set features a bunch of poinsettias and is intended for holiday themes but that does not mean you can’t use it for an everyday occasion card. That’s just what I did. The large image of the poinsettia flower can be featured in the middle of can also be stamped on the edges of the card. I decided to try the edge stamping technique for this card design, that way I could also feature the word thank you in the middle of my card.

I used my largest stitched rectangle die from Scrapdragon and cut it from Neenah Solar Crest White cardstock. Then I stamped the flower image 4 times on each corner of the card. I coloured the images with alcohol ink markers.
Then, on a black heavy cardstock, I cut out the word thank you using the dies from Concord and 9th. For this card design, I didn’t use the shadow that comes with the thank you word die. I then positioned the words in the middle of my card.

For the final touch, I added some star and round sequins for added interest. Then I pasted the whole panel onto a pink cardstock.
I hope you like this handmade card idea for a thank you card!
