Hugs in a Card

Hello sweet friends! My cardmaking blog post for today is a pop up box card using Lawn Fawn Berry Special stamp set. This cardmaking idea is for a birthday occasion for someone berry special 🙂

For those of you who are already familiar with my blog, you know my love for pop up cards. The surprise element in a pop up card makes recipients happy and feel very special.

The berry special stamp set is fit for a birthday occasion and is perfect for a friend, family, or a special someone. I created this handmade pop up card by making a box card from grey cardstock. You can view my previous post on how to make a pop up box card, it’s really very easy.

I used a patterned paper and white cardstock to decorate the front, sides, and back panel. Then I cut some grass using dies and then used watercolour to add dimension.

I used images and sentiments from the Berry Special stamp set from Lawn Fawn and coloured them with copic markers and other alcohol ink markers.

After I have adhered all the elements using Tombow liquid glue, I added some punched flowers and butterflies for embellishment.

I love this design because of the cool colour tones mixed in with warm and bright ones like red, yellow, and bright green.
