Penguin Palace: Birthday Wishes

Penguin Palace Birthday Wishes stamp set for cardmaking

Hello everyone! Today’s cardmaking idea is a birthday card featuring Birthday Wishes stamp set by Penguin Palace.

The stamp set contains a lot of cute images to create the most adorable birthday party scenes. It’s one of the stamp sets which I have won from a raffle sponsored by Penguin Palace on Instagram.

I was really happy to be picked because I have always wanted the designs of Penguin Palace stamps however, they are not available in Australia… yet? Hopefully. 🙂

To create this card, I stamped out the images from Birthday Wishes Penguin Palace stamp set, and then coloured them with alcohol ink markers. Then I fussy cut the images and glued them onto the panel.

I used my largest stitched A6 rectangle dies from Scrap Dragon for the panel. The background was created using a blending brush and Blushing Bride ink from Stampin’ Up! Then I splattered some pinks and golds using a waterbrush and metallic paint I bought from Kmart.

I stamped the sentiment using Black Tuxedo Memento ink and then added some tiny gold stars for embellishment. Then I attached the panel to a white A6 cardstock.
