Hello everyone! I’m back with another pop up card using bridge fold technique, which is a really interesting cardmaking design. I mixed and matched various supplies for this card and kept the colour scheme to teal and silver.
I started by cutting an A4 Cardstock (Pool Party from Stampin’ Up!) lenghtwise in the middle. Then, using a score board, I scored one of the cardstock pieces by 1″ – 2″ – 5 1/4″ – 6 1/4″ – 7 1/4″. If you are using a ruler, the measurements of the score marks are 1″ – 1″ – 3 1/4″ – 1″ – 1.” There will be a large excess portion, I cut that off and keep it for my future cardmaking projects.

Next, I cut off 3″ x 3 7/8″ smooth white cardstock. To create the background pattern, I dabbed different shades of teal ink pads on a silicon mat, sprayed it with water, made swirly patterns with a paint brush, and then dipped the cardstock onto the pattern. The ink pads I used were Pool Party, Bermuda Bay, and Balmy Blue, all from Stampin’ Up! I also added speckles of metallic silver paint using a large paintbrush.
I stamped the sentiment “a little message to say” from Lawn Fawn Love Letters, then I glued the panel in the middle of the teal cardstock. To create the fence at the front of the bridge fold card, I used 2 pieces of teal cardstocks measuring 1/2″ by 5 1/4″

Next, I die cut the following elements:
- Thank you word using Concord and 9th Say Thanks Dies. For the large outline, I used Bermuda Bay cardstock from SU and just a standard silver cardstock for the actual words.
- For the flowers and some of the leaves and foliage, I used Spellbinders Be Bold Etched Dies. I used a smooth white cardstock for the flowers and coloured them using Ohuhu alcohol markers (G360 & G340).
- The leaves were die cut using Bermuda Bay cardstock, silver cardstock, and vellum.
I glued the thank you word on the front of the fence and then decorated around it with the flowers and leaves. For the back part, I cut another 3″ x 3 7/8″ smooth white cardstock to make space for personal messages.
