Hello! I’m back again with another shaker card idea, this time it’s for my friend who is my mutual mommy support for years now. This handmade card idea is very similar to my previous one, and you can read about how I made this handmade shaker card design if you want to see the brief tutorial for this cardmaking project.

The layout for this diy greeting card is landscape but similarly, I coloured the background in the same manner as in my previous handmade shaker card for new year. All the steps are similar up to the inserting the shaker card elements and enclosing the cellophane plastic.

For the front part, I also used the same dies, Hello word die from Poppystamps and number dies from Stampin’ Up! The circle dies were from Scrap Dragon and I attached some golden strings which I bought from a Dollar Store, so they would look like baubles.

And that is pretty much it for this equally beautiful handmade shaker card. I really wanted to be creative with this cardmaking design as it’s for someone special too.
Did you enjoy the process for this unique shaker card design? Did you know that you can also make shaker bookmarks which is particularly nice if you have tiny clear stamps that you can’t seem to use for any of your cardmaking projects. Read through the link to find out how, and promise, you don’t need to buy additional tools for this one – since a fuse tool can be really expensive.
If you are a beginner, try digital stamps. They’re cheaper and more versatile.
Hoping to see you on my next posts. Have a blessed 2024 ahead!
