I still have my hangover from the last time I used the Adriana easel dies from Poppystamps. I just couldn’t get enough of it! The designs are endless for this easel die set.

This is a birthday card I made for my friend who’s celebrating the same birthday as mine, but I’m 4 or 5 years older, I think 🤔 I decided to add some flowers from Spellbinders Be Bold Bloom flower dies and the result was a fresh garden of an easel die card.

I just cut the whole die set on a smooth white cardstock and coloured the leaves with a blending brush and Mint Macaron ink from Stampin’ Up! Honestly, this shade is just so pretty. I only coloured the sides of the oval and then added some metallic green and white paint splatters. I painted the leaves with a touch of metallic gold paint too.

For the flowers, I used Real Red Stampin’ Up! ink brushed lightly from the center and out wards. I finished with Spun Sugar Distress Ink on the outer side of the petals. Then I die cut some leaves on a gold wrapping paper using Poppystamps Orchard Leaves dies. I decided to add a couple of leaves cut from vellum paper for some interest.

For embellishment, I glued some gold rhinestones on the flower centers and around the leaves. The sentiment I used were from Mama Elephant Paola’s Wishes stamp set. It says wishing you from the outside and happy birthday inside.

I hope you liked this card design. Adriana easel dies is surely a great set to have in your stash. It’s great for a quick cardmaking project.
