Hi friends! Today I am sharing a new card design using MFT Outside the Box Level Up dies but with a twist. For this cardmaking project, I wanted the centre part to be rectangular instead of the arched panel so I didn’t use the biggest die for this card.

I cut my main card parts from a teal cardstock. The one I used was from Stampin’ Up! in the shade of Bermuda Bay. Then I cut a white cardstock, a quarter inch smaller than the back piece on all sides. I used a blending brush and Distress Ink Salvaged Patina to colour the background. Then I splattered teal, purple, and pearl metallic paint watercolour for interest.

The images I used were from Hunky Dory For the Love of Stamps. I coloured the boy and girls using Ohuhu Alcohol Ink markers in shades of purple, teal, blue and grey.
- Purple: V250, V230
- Teal: G360, G340
- Blue: B290, PB8, PB7
- Grey: MG060, MG020

For the tree trunks, I cut them out from a dark brown cardstock using the tree branch from Lawn Fawn dies Centre Picture Card Heart Add On. The soft snow that gathered on the trees were DIY puffed glue. I used PVA glue and powder and it worked quite well. I sprinkled some clear glitters on top of the DIY snow glue to add glisten.

For embellishment, I added snowflake sequins and glued silver rhinestones in the centre. I wanted this card to glisten like the winter snow ❄️
