Hello friends! It’s spring here in Australia but somewhere in the world, it’s Autumn 🍂😊 Here is a new cardmaking project I made using Poppystamps Autumn Leaves Oval Frame die. I won this die set by joining one of the Poppystamps challenges. I feel incredibly lucky because I just love Poppystamps die sets!
The Autumn Leaves Oval Frame works perfectly for shaker cards. I cut out the die frame from a white cardstock and used watercolour to make them look like Autumn leaves. I also added some shimmer by using my metallic watercolour paints. Autumn leaves are simply lovely!
Afterwards, I glued the frame onto a dark brown cardstock and then I cut the oval part to match the front window. Then I placed foam adhesives at the back around the oval frame and on the edges before adding some colourful sequins and then attached the acetate sheet to make the shaker.
I attached the panel on a white card base but I also cut the oval part at the front making sure it aligns with the window so that you can see through the card.
I attached another piece of kraft brown cardstock where I stamped the big oval thank you sentiment from Lawn Fawn stamps. I coloured the sentiment with metallic watercolour paints as well.
