Hi friends! I’m sharing another cardmaking project today. It’s a shaker card featuring Concord and 9th Say Thanks Dies. The die set includes the words “thank you” in this nice cursive font and a shadow die plus other speech bubbles, but for this particular cardmaking design, I only used the word die and the shadow die.

To start with, I cut the shadow die on a white cardstock and then traced the shadow outline onto the cardbase so I would know which area to colour. Using a blending brush and teal coloured ink pads (Salvage Patina-Distress Ink and Bermuda Bay-Stampin’Up!) I created the background colour for my shaker window. I splattered with some pearl metallic paints too for a subtle interest.

Next, I adhered an acetate sheet at the back of the thank you shadow die. I enclosed this window with foam sheets at the back making sure there are no open spaces for the sequins to escape. I also added foam sheets on the entire card panel. Before adhering over the card base, I added various sequins in silver and teal colours over the space where the thank you shadow outline is.

Finally, I added some flowers from Lawn Fawn Giant Thank You Message die set. I also threw various sequins around.
Hope you liked this simple and easy thank you shaker card! Thanks for visiting my blog. Please subscribe if you liked this cardmaking design.
