Hello everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful start of the year 2025. I can’t believe January is almost over, and I haven’t posted this new card design. I made this for a friend whose beautiful daughter turned 18 last December.

This pop up birthday card is square and uses a gold happy birthday word die cut and yellow flower on the front. I added leaves and foliage and gold sparkles but mostly kept the front design as simple. But I just love how the pop up card glistens when you move it.

Inside, I added a gold 18 die cut, leaves, yellow flowers, and a girl digital image which I drew and coloured myself. I propped it with a pop up mechanism to give it some dimension so that when the card is opened, the girl stands out from the garden background.

I also added some splatters of gold paint behind the girl.

The flowers and leaves both on the front and inside the card were coloured using Ohuhu alcohol ink markers. The girl is also coloured using Ohuhu alcohol ink markers with a touch of glitter glue and rhinestone embellishments.

Supplies used were:
- White cardstock – from Stampin Up (SU)
- Gold cardstock – Stampin Up
- Flower dies – Spellbinders
- Leaf dies – Poppystamps
- Happy birthday word dies – ScrapDragon
- Number dies – Stampin Up
- Girl digital stamp – Hugs in a card
