Hello friends! It’s so good to be back after a looooong break from cardmaking, and I’m glad to have made this new card. It’s still a pop-up card, I just can’t resist making dimensional cards. It’s autumn themed using Happy Fall Digital Stamps from Penguin Palace Stamps. Today, I found out as well that they changed to Sunbird Park. Gosh, that’s how long I’ve been away.

I also used a few dies and stencils to create this card, such as Lawn Fawn Brick Stencil, Mama Elephant Gatefold Fence, and Hello Bluebird Birch Tree Dies. I also used other crafting supplies from Stampin Up!

This handmade card is A2 size (4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches) at the front. Both sides are 1 1/2 inches. I used Lawn Fawn Secret Garden Window dies to cut the arch opening at the front and then I added 2 inserts inside the box card for dimension.

I attached 2 fences, one on each end of the arch doorway, which opens and closes. And then I added vines above the gate as well as fallen leaves below the fences.

I coloured the vines with watercolour and used metallic golds to add shimmer. I really love how the leaves sparkle when you move the card under the sun.

I also added the leafless birch trees behind and kept them white to keep the focus on both the girl and her dog. They look so cute holding pumpkins.

The grass was cut from Stampin Up white cardstock using the grass die from Mama Elephant Slim Window Dressing die set. I coloured the grass pieces by blending Stampin Up inks (Macaron Mint, Blushing Bride, Mango Melody) and then spraying with water for texture.

The images were from Happy Fall Digital Stamp set from Sunbird Park (formerly Penguin Palace Stamps). I coloured them with Ohuhu alcohol ink markers in autumn shades of pink, brown, green, and of course, yellow and orange for the pumpkins.

Finally, the sentiments I used were from Hello Bluebird Fall Friends stamp set fastened on top of the arched gate. I decided to add a sign in front of the fence that says “autumn greetings ” from Hello Bluebird Autumn Gathering stamp set. It has a clip mechanism behind to keep the fence closed and easier to place inside the envelope.

Here is a video of the card in action.
