Hello friends! Today, I am sharing a winter themed diy cake topper that’s very easy to make. I design a cake topper every month for church and this one’s for June celebrations.

This cake topper would be perfect for white, purple, blue hues. Ombre cakes would be perfect too.

I printed Happy Sabbath on a white cardstock and then layered it on top of a purple cardstock to create an outline.

Then, I cut 6 pieces of snowflakes using die cuts and coloured them in light and dark purple and blue alcohol ink markers. Then I glued them over a white cardstock and cut along the shapes for outline. I recommend adding silver glitter glue, it created such a beautiful glisten to the snowflake pieces.

At first, I used silver strings to hang the snowflake pieces and the pieces turn around. However, I didn’t glue snowflake pieces at the back of the white cardstock so I decided to use clear acetate to keep them in place and facing forward.

I cut JUNE in silver cardstock and similarly, added a white outline using white cardstock. Using a double sided adhesive, I stuck the word onto the clear acetate on the space above the snowflakes.
Here is a short video of the final outcome! Hope this inspired you. It’s very easy to create and can really make a difference to your cake.
What a great idea! Thank you so much for sharing!
